Well, I personally think you're in a fantasy dreamland with that prediction, but to each their own. If OR played West I think we would get our rear ends handed to us.

I never said we will beat them, I'm just saying we could. Those are completely different things. If we work hard and get better on defense and our coaches manage to utilize all our athletes on offense and we can stay healthy we "could" beat them.

I mean their is always a chance a team coupld pull off a major upset, but the law of averages is way against WB beating West this year. I don't care how who is utilized by the coaching staff in whatever way lol

See the problem with most people is they think simplistically. They think "oh this team has a mediocre record so they must not have good players" which may be true in some cases but alot of times you gotta look below the surface. Just look at bearden last year, they are a perfect example. They were loaded with talent and had a crappy record. Its been that same story at WB since Meadows left here every single year. When Meadows first came to WB he called it "a diamond in the rough", he knew we had talent here. That's why I disagree that it would be some kind of miraculous upset for us to beat a good team like West. If we get our shiz together we could do it. But in the court of public opinion it would be a shocker. Edited by Governors91

Call it what it's, but I just think your expectations are a little too high for a team coming off a 3-7 year who lost arguably their best player in Otis. I love your upbeat positive attitude about your team, but you have to throw in some realism somewhere.

2-8 actually. I am being realistic. I know we can be a good team if we get our stuff together. Just look at how our teams were under meadows. The talent never went anywhere. You mentioned Otis but the year before that we had an athlete that was as good as or better than Otis and we were just as bad record wise. Edited by Governors91

I'm just saying not to get your hopes up too high like you did last year and on here calling for heads midway through the season. Don't think it can't happen again lol

It's impressive. They are a small 4A school and Jeff County and Bearden are big 6A schools. Like you said regardless it's still impressive.

Loudon came to Jefferson County saying they were going to play as many plays in their playbook as they could get in. Jefferson ran 6 plays, thats all.

They did not prepare for Loudon, because it was meaningless. Scrimmages mean nothing but a glorified practice against someone other than your teanmates.

I believe the score was Loudon 4 JCHS 3 for those who want a score !

Loudon knew what play JCHS was going to run every time, it was not that difficult. Loudon will have a good season in their classification, so don't read more into this than it deserves !!!

Someone will have to take up his shoelaces and belt by week 3 or 4. Spring scrimmage demolition didn't mean anything. Getting worked on by the worst team in PA's district means nothing. When they start meaning soemthing he will be calling for the waterboys to be fired. That's about the time I pop my head back up for an "I told you so". That's just my guess.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
