2014 Tobacco Bowl JamboreeThe 26th annual Tobacco Bowl Jamboree sponsored by Bodyguard Sports Medicine will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at John Kerr Field.

7:30 pm  ---  Macon Co.                               vs   Gordonsville

8:30 pm  ---  Macon Co. (JV)                        vs   Beech (JV)

9:00 pm  ---  Trousdale Co.                          vs   Beech

 

 

Team Guidelines:

 

*        Varsity teams will compete in one half of an officiated football game.

 

*        Junior Varsity teams will compete in two (12 minute) quarters with a continuous clock. The clock will only stop between scores and respotting the ball at the thirty yard line.

 

 *        Kick-off / Kick-off Return will not be conducted – Possessions to start the game and after a touchdown or field goal will be started on the thirty yard line.

 

 *        Punts, PATs, and Field Goals will be conducted, but neither will be live.  There will be no rushing the punter or kicker, and the returner must fair catch the football.

 

 *        The practice field will be made available for both teams to warm-up one hour before the designated starting time.

 

 *        For specifics about your team’s game please contact the opposing coaching staff to outline further guidelines.
