What do y'all think of these possible Regions in 2015?

From an Upper Cumberland perspective, this would split current District 8-AA teams off into 4 different regions. Assuming these projections are pretty accurate, Livingston and Macon would remain in 4A and play teams such as Maplewood, Portland, White House, and Whites Creek. DeKalb could or could not be pushed down to 3A (they are right on the borderline), possibly retaining Upperman and Cannon and adding teams like Marshall and Giles counties along with Page and Fairview from Williamson County. Smith could possibly get pushed down to 2A, with Cascade, Community, Eagleville, Forrest, and Jackson Co. Meanwhile, York is caught in between, with the only possibilities of either being added to Upperman's region or to a region with teams from Knox and Sevier counties (CAK, Pigeon Forge, Gat.-Pitt.) as well as Loudon, Kingston, Scott, and Claiborne. Talk about a long way to travel for all of these 8-AA teams...

I dont like it!

I do not like the whole going back to the Regions crap

Or #1 in this region takes on #4 in this region

Keep it seeded with Districts like you have currently with this Z-Plan

More Parody More Unpredictability!

They better not go back to that crap

Tennessee should be Tennessee, not anyone else!

They are Them and We are Us!

He's got Copper Basin 3-1A with: Fayetteville,Grace Baptist,Huntland,Lookout Valley,Moore County,South Pittsburg and Whitwell. That's an interesting region. It would be strange not to have CB playing Boyd Buchanan anymore. The three openings in CB's schedule would probably be filled by Hayesville(NC),Andrews(NC) and Towns County(GA).

So private schools with 280ish students are in 2A due to the multiplier. With the realignment they will be playing much bigger schools which is fine if you have a choice. The TSSAA has told the privates that they can not switch to D2 till the end of 16/17 season even though they are changing the regions mid cycle.

Why not just move all privates to d2 now in this shake up?

I guess the possibility of lawsuits is more fun.

I guess they love for it to be one big soap opera. :popcorneater:

    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
