I think game will be close the first half. I think MJ D will be able to get pressure on QB and force a couple of turnovers and that will be the difference.

 

I don't think they will give Malone the ball 25 + times. If they do; I don't think he can hold up with that many carries and playing LB; especially coming back from an injury. Even if he does; they wont make a living running the ball against the Bear D and it will wear him down.

 

SC wont take the chance of having him worn out on defense or getting reinjured.

Mj lbs are extremely weak. Their 2 best are sophomores. Run it up the middle and they will never stop it.

I really believe for the SC offense to "live up to expectations" Malone has to play more offense and less defense.  He is the biggest weapon on the team and will eliminate teams from sitting in coverage all night, but I thought the same thing last year...

Shows how little you know WCP... These young men have not played LB since Freshman football last season. Check your facts before you spout off with uninformed statements. Furthermore,there is considerably depth at LB this year for the Golden Bears. On a team with its share of flaws, the LBs are far from a weakness on this team.
