I hate to say I told you so...wait, actually, no I don't. Everyone was so sure that Heritage wasn't Heritage anymore. Some things will never change.

Heritage is a pretty good team. Like I said earlier I thought WB would win this one because heritage is still not quite there. They have not won a big game yet, but those will come in time. Edited by Governors91

Heritage is a pretty good team. Like I said earlier I thought WB would win this one because heritage is still not quite there. They have not won a big game yet, but those will come in time.

 

Heritage may well win some big games THIS year. But I heard a lot on this thread how they were going to take WB to the woodshed, and that's just not what Heritage does.

Two defensive TD called back didn't help matters. Pretty much gift wrapped it with those and poor special teams play. Good game by Blount, though. Great game to watch and be part of. Heritage didn't win, but they are not the Heritage of old.

Both teams made costly mistakes but heritage probably made more. WB fumbled on the goalline at the beginning of the game when all the momentum was on their side. Heritage marches down the field and scores to take the early lead 7-0 instead of it being Blount 7-0 like it should have been.I felt like there were also a few times in the game where we could have and should have put it away but we didn't. But heritage has no reason to hang their heads. WB was 0-3 heading into this game but we had been playing without Fair, our best RB. He had a monster game for us. IMO we would have been atleast 2-1 if he had played the first 3 games. We were a totally different team with him starting on offense. I'm sure heritage will get some more wins this year, good luck to the mountaineers.

I think y'all would be 3-1 if that running back had been healthy. Loudon though has proven that they're for real.

Fair is a freak athlete. He goes about 6'2 200+pounds and can run guys over but also has the quickness and moves that the little slippery RBs have. I saw the big guy hurdle some heritage defenders tonight. If he hadn't played we wouldn't have even come close to winning. Like I said.. Just in the nick of time.
