UTRok
Talk about the new kid in Clay County is what is wrong with message boards and why I rarely post. Someone appears to have seen him play and was impressed with him. Then you have others commenting that no nothing of him. I know a few folk over there and made a call or two appears they moved back to Celina because the Fathers mother’s health. The say he is a good athlete and plays 3 sports and more important than that a good kid and student. I was told he started school a week ago Monday 9/15 and practiced last week before the JC game not a lot of time to build chemistry. Also appears they had a fill in QB before him and they say he throws the ball much harder than the kid playing before so it is a bit of an adjustment for their receivers. They say it was apparent in the JC game with several dropped passes one or two in the enszone and one on a go route where the DB was beat and the receiver dropped it. So not a lot to compare to anyone with one game and a week’s worth or practice behind him. So maybe at the end of the season you can see what he does and then have an idea what he may be able to do going forward. He will be easy to spot as a 6’ 7†lefty sophomore, so two more full years to play.

UTRok
In this day and age no need to transfer just for exposure. They can get all they need in the summer with baseball and basket showcase teams. Tons more camps and combines for football now as well. UGA has a red shirt sophomore Ramsey that received an offer from UGA and attended the Elite 11 main camp a few years ago all before he had taken a snap as the starting varsity QB. He was on the same Elite 11 show that the Ferguson kid was on that left UT.

UTRok
Well I guess that has to do a lot with how informed the parents are and where they take the kids in the summer time. If a kid has the grades and the ability get to the type of camps to be seen it will increase the opportunity tremendously.

Nobody is bashing this kid either, just pointing out that USC is a little ahead of himself with all his comparisons.

Soph Jennings at DC and Fresh Carlisle ay Macon are not scrubs either. To be saying this is the #1 kid in the entire area ever is a stretch. He might not be the best in his age group in this area. Time will tell. Edited September 23, 2014 by UpperCumberlandMan
