Who will Powell get for a coach now?

Nothing new.  I spoke with 2 of the 3 left in the mix and they both indicated that they were told that it would be January when school returns from Christmas break before a decision is made.  

 

So, it's likely going to be status quo until then unless Administration changes its mind.  

Looking at prepxtra on line & they have an article clearing John Allen of any wrong doing. The article also mentions the 3 names that are being discussed as finalist on coach t. I guess this confirms that they are the finalist. 

 

I still don't get waiting till after christmas if everything we have read here is correct & all the interviews are over it would be benficial to all involved to announce the hire ASAP. Long wait for the 3 involved.

Reading the KNS this morning and it mentioned the DC from South Doyle, OC from Farragut, and OC from Clinton. It would be my guess that these are the three finalist that interviewed this week. As many have mentioned, I too am surprised the administration is going to wait until after the break to inform us of a decision, but we must respect their decision. I wonder if they will have made a decision before the break but are waiting until after to announce it. Either way, it will be interesting to see what their decision is.

With this being the week for final exams for KCS high schools, I would assume that's why they wanted to end interviews by Tuesday so that the administration can turn their attention back to school while exams are going on.

I'm sure they already picked the new HC, they're just not telling. I'm going to miss Ellison at Clinton though. 😀

I don't know who the new coach will be. I was just saying I'm going to miss Ellison because every time Clinton gets a good coach, they end up leaving.

Out of the 3 finalists I heard of, I would pick Ellison. He is a great man and knows his football.

That's because there is nothing to add to it.  School is out, the final 3 have been interviewed for the last time, and the candidates have been told that a decision isn't going to be made until after school starts back on January 6.
