Congratulations to the Wildcats as they won comfortably. Good luck going forward.

Tough games for the Pounders tonight. Proud of this team. This team came along way from the workouts  til tonight. No one expected them to advance and win as many as they did. Loosing a lot of quality on defense but have a lot coming back on offense. Have a chance to be good next year. Got to work and find some defensive players. We will need some Linebackers. Offense will just loose 2 O starters . We live and learn from this year and go forward. The kids have done well. Back to back playoffs. Proud of this team and the coaches . They brought this team a long way.

Pounders should cancel out LA's speed. If they play heads up ball and we move the ball Pounders will win and come back to play in Chattanooga next week. It is cold on both sides. Pounders have weapons that LA needs to stop also. Do not let your QB be in a pocket for long or he is in trouble. Make sure the pitches to your running back is not to fast because of him getting hit before the running back is ready to get the pitch. Make sure your QB does not throw in a hurry because a blitz will be coming.  LA's QB will get hit and so will your running back.Get ready. This will be a good game.

It was a good couple first minutes. After that, Livingston destroyed every aspect of Chattanooga Central's game. Only score came by Central's first team on Livingston's second and third string.

Congratulations to Linder for going over 2K tonight. Logan Clark with a nice pick six.

Iceman, at home, yes.

Kids have done well, but who didn't expect them to do good this year? We are graduating 20+ seniors! REALLY! This was our year to do something. We are losing pretty much everything but funk! Losing size, speed, Leadership, kicking game! Unbelievable your thinking. Call me negative call me whatever but I need a pair of your rosé colored glasses. Last year central turned the corner should've won more this year. I'm upset and I'm not satisfied with this year. If your a central fan you shouldn't be either! I guarantee the kids aren't! I'm tired of this we will get em next year, this was that year! Period!

No one thinks they're better or anything, just stating facts.

LA put up 50 points per game on teams in their area. They played one Chattanooga team, Hixson, got beat, so it had to be a BAD game for them, didn't it?

Sounds like Upper Cumberland teams might not be all that good, huh? Be careful,Funk runs a lot like the Hixson backs, but LA just had a bad game!?! Go Pounders!

So now do you think LA might have had a BAD game?

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
