I don't believe that Crawford and Keidel had a plan the entire year for Crawford to return. That is not either one style. I know for a fact that Ron would not entertain these types of discussion while his team was in the playoffs. As for why coach Woodward got fired,. I imagine 5-15 had something to do with it. I can't speak for other reasons. I do think it is fair to say he inherited a tough situation after Pemberton bolted.

Anyone that's knows football knows how brutal the schedule was and can figure out pemberton set the next coach up for failure. Admin should have given Woodward one more year. Better for Woodward though because he doesn't deserve to be around that kind of Admin that says one thing then does another.

Oh this was NOT your only issue in those many multi-posts.

 

The fact is that the previous HC not only screwed Woodward, he screwed the kids and their families.  The PRINCIPAL merely took the bait and ran with it.  All of the adults in this situation are complicit.  When parents get too involved in High School sports the biggest loser is always the kids, then the people who work the most in a program, the coaches.
