Of course I was! MJC has averaged 2 wins a season (playing lesser competition than Richland) the last 6 years and Sale Creek was winless as a program until last week (1-21), so yeah.......

Richland has been a dumpster fire for the last several years. They've had guys trying to intentionally injure other teams players (at Loretto when they ignited a brawl) have had to have extra security at home games (Loretto the following year after the brawl). Just 2 years ago they fired a coach because he was too rough on the football players. You've played Sale Creek and MJC. I would even expect a 1st year team to beat both of those teams. Slow down on the rebirth stuff, not quite there yet. You have probably won your last game unless you face Grace Baptist, another first year team.

Summertown (first varsity season) and Cornersville (starting a gazillion freshmen and soph.) are the only other teams Richland has any shot of beating (maybe Grace Christian, but I doubt it), so if 4 to 5 wins is a rebirth in your mind Midstate, then more power to ya!!!!! Will I be invited to the .500, post season celebration party?

I'll give you my definition of rebirth since you're wondering. Rebirth to me means learning how to walk before you run and if a .500 season is the best Richland can do this year then I'll take it. Beats the heck out of the last several years they've had. No one ever said Richland was gonna win them all this season. Since you're so worried about the Raiders program we might invite you and VC to roast some mallows around our dumpster fire. DH

Good point.... If those GCHS posters on here showing their support 'Really' wanted to show support for RHS, they maybe should voice their opinions to GCHS to stop drawing off all RHS best athletes over to GCHS.... Richland would come back in a Big way if they could just keep their athletes there and not bleed/transfer them to Giles County High.😜...lol.

I can understand why the kids have gone to GCHS. Honestly it has been a better place to play ball, until now. I don't think many would argue that. But I wish all the young men that play for GCHS the best this season.

No disrespect but looking at the schedule at the very best I see maybe 5-5 and that's if they beat first year program Stown so that leaves them winning 3 more games. Good luck to RHS your gonna need it.
