Well, then my question is how do we fix this? How can we have more support for the program? Do they need to have an "open house" meet/greet type of event? Maybe people are still a little jaded..? Idk and nor do pretend to have the answers. The skill players are there. Coaching is there and they working toward improving/adding more quality coaches.

QB Club already hosts an open house/ meet & greet type event. That is when they discuss how the QB Club benefits the team & for only $25 you can join. I'm not sure what it would take to get people to jump on board at this point.

I know this is a football thread but how have the Dresden basketball teams fared this year? Not like you can find a basketball thread with Dresden mentioned.

Yso; I wouldn't say the basketball teams are terrible....they are young. Carrie Kat's the only senior on the girl's team & Kourtney is the only senior boy I believe. District's start this week. Our girls tied for 2nd with Gleason & our boys are 3rd in the district. Girls won last night & will play Gleason in the semi-final. Boys play Bruceton tonight.

If you don't mind me asking, when is this event? What all does it included? I know and understand that winning solves a lot of issues, but to get to that point the student-athletes need a winning attitude/environment and that includes the community buying in. Great information though. I appreciate it.

Wow I would have thiught at least one of the scrimmage games would be closer to home. We played Tca down there last spring. Maybe at least one will be in Dresden or maybe at Bethel.

Should be a top 10 team if they improve on the line and at LB. Skill position a big strength.

First two of your points have always been my biggest concern with the group of Lion's mentioned above. No doubt this is probably the most talented group of players that I have seen at Dresden. Talent will only carry you so far, work and heart is what will make a championship run with this group. Hopefully they will work their butts off and put the team first.
