Yso you not coming in for the annual rib and bbq cooking? We even have a great boxing match that night. Oh and almost forgot the Run for the Roses the same day.

Pac12 when is the annual gathering of the minds this year? I'm trying to plan a trip back pretty soon (homesick). Got the kids coming down for spring break at two different weeks soon and I've got to fly to Texas for work. I'm leaning toward end of April or early May.

Winn and his sisters will make Dresden good in several sports the next several years. Good to hear.

Heard Dresser and Quincey went to a football showcase.  Both did extremely well.  Dresser got an invite to the rivals invitation only event in Atlanta.  He will get the chance to compete against some of the best qbs in the south.  Can't wait to see the 2015 lions in action!!

Those camps are really a impressive thing to see. We have kids that are fast in West TN but going to those camps it's impressive to see what really fast kids look like. One camp we went to in Louisville had a couple D1 running backs blast off 4.42 and 4.43 40's. Fastest 40 I've witnessed in person was at Memphis and a kid ran 4.36. Think he is at Vandy now. Had a linebacker run 4.55 at 6'2" 220 lbs. I would expect to see Dresser and Quincey shine when they go. But every kid there will be special.

No need. You are exactly right. It is just beneficial to bring in quality coach(es) with experience. The more good coaches you have, the better off your team will be period. Proven fact. Nothing negative needs to be taken from the previous comment. The coaches they have in place do/did a good job. They went to the playoffs and won their first game.

    • All high school coaching postions are year to year. At least in public schools.
    • Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year
    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
