RHEA, ONE WAY TO GET THE A THE ADVANTAGE ON THE VEER.....WORK INSIDE TO OUTSIDE, GET THE OFFENSE TO RUN EAST AND WEST INSTEAD OF NORTH AND SOUTH..TAKING THE PRIMARY WEAPON WHICH IS RUNNING THRU THE A AND B GAPS..AND THEY ARE MORE VULNERABLE TO THE OUTSIDE AND A HIGHER RISK OF A TURNOVER BECAUSE OF THE PITCH...

I WOULD SAY THAT THE WEAKNESS FOR RHEA IS THE SECONDARY....AND WEST AVERAGE MORE TURNOVERS......

THIS IS A BIG YEAR FOR RHEA....A HOME GAME???THE WHOLE TOWN WILL SHUT DOWN FOR THAT GAME.....WEST YOU BETTER BE PREPARED TO HIT THEM IN THE MOUTH EARLY OR YOU WILL BE JOINING THE MOTHBALL CIRCUIT.....PLAYING IN RHEA COUNTY IS LIKE PLAYING IN MCMINN COUNTY......

You do get cinderella teams in the Playoffs from time to time but it's usually the same programs who make it to the Blue Cross Bowl.

This is likely to happen week 10 next year.  But, West will lose a ton of talent off of this years team.  

 

West vs. RC should be a great game.  What are the visitor stands like at RC? 

Visitor's stands are as big as the home side.  They used to serve as the home side stands.  You do have some Rhea County faithful that insist on still sitting over there, but they keep to themselves to the left of the old pressbox.  I know Andy Kelly and his family still sit over there.  I do, too, if I want to watch the whole game without interruption. 

 

It's a great stadium to visit and I can say that without bias.  I work with people all over the Chattanooga and Nashville areas and they all enjoy coming to Bill Horton Field.

Living in SE Tennessee i just follow a lot of teams in the area. Maryville should have dropped down to 5A. That would have been a wild scene in 5A. Lots of Big Boy football

Murvil was in 5A for next year.  They chose to move up.  You can't drop down only play up.  I'm glad they moved up, ha ha.

Can someone explain Rhea County's midfield logo? It looks almost maroon instead of green and gold.

The original logo color scheme blended too much with the field so they changed the color to brown from the kelly green in the original logo Edited November 25, 2014 by Rhea Co.

Watching the film on West they are a very impressive team. The defense did a great job of stopping South Doyle.. West's offense is full of speed and 71 is a very good guard he opens big holes for Cottrell Marshall and Romines. Should give Rhea a great challenge
