Much respect to trezvant...

Congrats to Fulton on the 3 peat, but kudos to Trezevant for putting up a good fight, Teli White has done a tremendous job w/ these young men the last few years leading up to now. If they are anything similar to what they are now once they move down to 2A, watch out.....

This kid got y'all there he control the game every well. That's not cool to judge him off this game! Yes it may have came at a bad time but he was solid against us and I'm sure without him y'all wouldn't even be in Cookeville.

I'm glad that was said... Cause they was going in on lil homie... And the center was part the blame for some of those snaps they were not on the same page...

Just got home from game .. hats off to the Bears .. Fulton could have easily been up 33-6 At half . But to Bears credit .. we didnt put game away and theyvpounded the ball at us .. #5 is a man .. and a sophomore .. wow .. our qb was off his game but Bears covered well in secondary .. it was hard fought game with defenses dominating mostly .. Bears had some studs out there #1, #5, #10,#55 .. very stout and tough .. most thing I was impressed with aside from #5 wow .. was the sportsmanship played by the Bears .. that program has grown up .. that Coach deserves a tremendous amount of credit .. it was fun watching a hard nosed game where tempers and fights were in control .. hats off to Bears .. glad you guys moving down to 2a .. I would hate to be in 2a trying to tackle #5 .. did I say Wow .. anyway congrats to my F alcons on a rare 3 peat .. loosing a bunch of talented seniors .. who now have 3 rings

You right. Lol I had to joke on him. He had me nervous all game. No doubt I can imagine how nervous all of the bears were playing for the gold ball for their first time. Great season to all the kids and congrats to Fulton on the 3 peat

    • This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.
    • From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
    • The coach's departure ensued due to the absence of backing from the board members, compounded by the unsettling revelation that one board member persistently surveilled him, verging on conduct akin to harassment. Furthermore, it appears that meeting the expectations of this community remains an unattainable feat, as even a hypothetical scenario of clinching five consecutive state championships would likely not suffice to quell discontent. The current situation is fraught with complications, primarily stemming from applicants for the position who have cultivated relationships with board members known to have opposed the former coach.
    • Yes it big when you only have 30 players last year and that is counting 8th graders it is huge!!!!!!! And this year they are starting a middle school team and the 8th graders will be on it. Until their season is over. That is a plus to having a K-12 school. The eighth graders can play on high school football. And yes we have used them a lot in the past few years.
    • Was the Coach fired? I thought I had read here or somewhere that he had elected to leave himself and pretty sure some folks on here had already been eluding to his departure well in advance of him actually acknowledging it. Or did the principal can him and then in turn get canned him/herself for this action?  From the sounds of it, i don't know if this or the Clinton situation is more of a mess.
