This was a shocker uknoit. ????

I would have been shocked if this team didn't have some early season chemistry issues, I  think Coach Smith told be he had 16 varsity players. There is no way to please 16 boys and 32 parents. Each kid will just have to understand  its a team thing and be happy to be a part of the team. Basketball may be the most selfish sport, but to be good,you can't have it. People like to look at box scores and gauge the players, but in nearly every case,you can look at rebounds and assists and there you will find the winner. Hampton has a huge bulls eye on um and it will take a team effort every night to defend the title.I'm fairly confident that the Dogs have the most talented team in the region ,but that in itself won't win ballgames, its about every kid selling out for the team and their goals. Its the coaches job to determine the ones who are willing to give it 100 percent and be a selfless part of the team. A loss can be a blessing or it can cause major problems and finger pointing.That boils down to the kids and their desire to be a productive part of the team.  The coaches just have to find the right combination and it may not even be the most talented ones, its the ones willing to play the hardest and do the little things to win a ballgame. Its really all about ONE HEARTBEAT

I agree and that new stadium is underway here in Betsy land.

    We tried to work out a game with you fellers but with all the teams in our new regions,it didn't work out. I think it would have been a great game and very exciting for the Co. We may have one of our best  teams in history next season, just gotta work like crazy during the off season and be fortunate enough to stay healthy during the season. The work is underway ,can't do much about the other. I'm excited 8 months from opening kickoff.

It would have been fun to have played but the TSSAA took care of that and we have to travel all over the place to play football but it is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it.I am going to do my best to come watch Hampton next year.

     I'd say you'll be able to catch a game .You're new region don't spark alot of interest. The new Northveiw team being the exception. Cloudland has them the 1st game. They may be surprising right outta the gate.

Our region is awful and we should have stayed in 4A but we didn't and will have to live we that decision for 3 years.

Just 2 years Lawnman.  And I agree about the region for you guys.Very little to get excited about.

Good because I can't bare 3 years of that and EHS is to blame because they thought Alcoa was going to stay on 2A and I think about everybody in TN new that wasn't going to happen.Sorry guys I will quite talking football because this is about B Ball.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
