7-3 seems about right maybe 8-2. I cant figure out dekalb this year....seem to be down in football, basketball, and now even basball. Is their not much talent around Jennings?

We have talent on the fball team outside of Jennings, but I don't think that talent fits the type offense Trapp likes to run. We started to win last year when we replaced a lot of those upperclassmen with younger talent and mixed up our offense. If we try to run a wide open spread passing offense the entire game we will struggle in my opinion.

i agree....Dekalb would seem to have more big country boys than speedsters year in and out. Good coaches mix it up, play to the talent they have

Grundy got run over by 1a Moore Co in Fridays scrimmage,can the new greenhorn coach get it done?

Not a good sign. Smith, York, Upperman, Dekalb, and probably Sequatchie will all be better than Moore Co.

He started with 12 players. That boy doing good to field a team. heard he had 40. Id say Moore had more than that. He inherited a weak team, give it time.

come join us on the 3a region 4 2015 thread, we don't bite. It might be a rough year for GC, but if the play lots of young eager boys, they sould bounce back for 2016. New coaches needs into his 3rd year before passing to many judgments.

me or you could coach 18 average HS boys and have a good chance to beat Cannon. I wouldn't put them that far down just yet.
