It seems that Jackson County is playing well outside of the loss to Uppermam, but right now I don't believe an A team in the upper cumberland is going to be able to play with Upperman.

I think Clay Clarkrange and JC are all capable of taking this district. Pitching will be a big part of who gets it. Can't wait to see how the JC/Clay and JC/Clarkrange games turn out. First JC/Clarkrange game will be a wash since the Range will have 4 starters gone on senior trip but second meeting should be a good game

Clarkrange has played with Upperman all night. Score has been tied 1-1 for several innings with Upperman scoring a run top of seventh to make it 2-1 so at least for tonight an A team can play with em. Upperman wins 2-1

Was LaFever or Cannon pitching for Upperman?

Not sure hitme. Don't know one pitcher from the next. I do know it was Uppermans second game of the day and Clarkrange third with the buffaloes playing a tough Oneida team and Upperman back to back so players on both teams were tired I'm sure but showed good sportsmanship and both had some great athletes. Not taking anything from Upperman. They are a great team and play very well together but tonight Single A Clarkrange hung with em. Great job both teams

Since a few games have been played my pick goes to Clay to win this district!

Is their good pitcher the same one that is the qb?

One of them Wingman, Clay has 3 pitchers that are all about the same. 1 RHP who has some velocity and 2 Leftys one throws better junk but the bigger QB throws harder. Just my Opinion from what I've watched and heard.

Yes he is the one, and is probably the one the other person was talking about having some velocity. He's just a sophomore so he's got a lot of room to grow. On a side note he was very raw at QB last year, and with some mechanical work could be a very good QB.

yes, I heard he has a slow delivery and needs some work...could send up to Tech's camp and get someone to help him once or twice a week

Jackson County is solid all around and no chance for clay and clarkrange to win the district! JC will make it the farthest in the district! No one has a chance case closed!!

Everyone is saying that Clarkrange will win the district, but I recall two run rules in the district tourney last year for JC! All they did was get better...!!!
