Is Patrick Willis up for 1A Back and 1A Lineman?

Is Bruceton's Patrick Willis a finalist for the 1A back and lineman of the year? I saw that posted on two different threads on here.

Well, I went back and looked at the email I got from TSSAA and it did have him in both.

He is a tremendous athlete, but I can't imagine that being right.....

I beleive that a player who plays Linebacker get put up as a lineman. I think His lineman nomination reflects defense and his back nomination reflects offense.

My opinion is they shouldn't count linebackers as lineman because they usually wind up giving it to another back,who plays linebacker.If it says lineman it should be given to those fat guys that allow the backs to run,and the linebackers to make tackles.Those are your true lineman.Of course being a former lineman I could be biased.

Patrick plays on both sides of the ball and leads all of west tn in ushing yards and either does lead west tn in tackles or is only a few tackles short.he has several interceptions, tackles for loss and fumbles cuased also.he is a total athlete.
