...takes OC job at Crockett Co. Responsible for the best seasons in WC history.

I actually played on both of his first teams ever. I was a 7th grader when he was hired for the Jr High job and my Senior year was his first year as the High School Coach.

My Brothers Senior year he led WC to the Semi-Finals and WC farthest playoff run to date.

Thanks Coach.

I think they already have someone in mind and waiting in the gate. However, anybody would be a total fool to go there. It's a dead end road. Fronnie is smart for getting out of there. The kids are great and the people in the community are good people, but the administration at the central office tries to micromanage everything, and they don't care anything about football. They have more administrators per student than any system around. Their administrative move by reassigning the principal to another school and hiring a basketball guy to be principal tells me all I need to know. W C is also one of the lowest paying, if not THE lowest paying district in West TN.

Thanks Fronnie for putting WC on the map in 2011, 12, and 13 especially. Thanks for all you did for the kids. You will really fit in with Kevin Wards' system at CC. WC will miss you but you will not miss WC. Put WC in the rear view mirror and don't look back.

  • 2 weeks later...

Coach Wolfe a W. Carroll alum has taken the Job. He leaves Camden after 5 years as our DC..he Brings  Coach Fisher with him to run the Offense.  The Defense will be very good. Wolf is a great defensive coach. Get ready to work kids. They are bringing a habit of winning with them and I dont think they are trying to kick the habbit either

Lake Co. Is the lowest paying district I believe.

    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
