Care to elaborate?

I actually agree that CA (Now that #15 is back) will be the #3 seed and beat Bruceton n HC. I think HC beats Bruceton though.

And of course I think WC beats H'dung

I've seen them all on film and it's just my guess. If Wayne County can beat Huntingdon though it would be a great win. I too would pick the Irish to win a battle with Bruceton. In my opinion Coach Clark and Houston County are one of the year' stop stories after overcoming last year's disaster to put together a strong campaign this season

I've got

WC/Huntingdon winner

HC

CA

That's my projection, I know what WC is capable of but I also know Huntingdon is good also, could come down to a fumbled snap or missed extra point. From what I've seen on film, and you don't get a true feel for team speed and other things on film, HC seems to be in the third spot. I agree with what another poster said about Bruceton losing their drive after the WC loss. If they can pull it together I'll put them in fourth, but they gotta get it together. And also I'm not counting out HC to finish second until the final whistle blows tomorrow night and WC wins. Anything can happen on any given Friday night!

No doubt he deserves SOOO much credit from winning 3 games in 2 years and last season losing half the team to injuries and having just 20-25 players left at the end of the season. All that to a 5-0 (5-1 now) and a top 10 State Ranking and what is sure to be a 7 win playoff team!

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
