Brent Smith will bring his team together no matter what kind of players he has to work with. If aplayer can survive all of the practices and the drills,running andthe lectures that are given then they are willing to play defense together as a team Brent will have the team to beat in 7a, because I have been to his practices and saw him motivate players to do stuff that is unreal. I just wish he was still at Red Boiling Springs,but the powers that be did not want him or the players that he had coming up to suceed in what they could have accomplished.

That is not the reason Brent left RBS. He left because he had a chance to go back to his old high school and he had to get get certifide to teach biology and he chose not to do so. Their isn't always someone to blame in every situation.

That may have been what you was told,since that is what the powers to be wanted everyone to think.But when politics, brownosing,and the you scratch my back and I scratch yours get involved, that is exactly what happened.I know this is what went on,because I was very close to this situation.

I don't know anything about Pickett County this year but i am playing on the same college team as Nathan Aaron who played at Pickett County. Nathan is a great shooter and is having a solid freshman year so far. I am happy he is here at Freed. He is a super guy.

Brent has been gone from RBS for 3 years now. He has done a great job and Pickett County. He made the choice to go back to his hometown school. He may not have intended on it at that point but the opportunity was there and he took it. So let it go....
