Lavergne @ Smyrna Aug.21st 1st game

Coming into this game I thought lavergne would win. If this qb play doesn't get any better people are going to load up the box and dare them to throw the ball

LaVergne did not shoot themselves in the foot.  They got it directly in the head. Penalties killed y'all in the 4th qtr.   Final call for the interception was WRONG.  Ball hit the ground.

 

Number 15 for LaVergne is a LOAD.  Strong powerful runner with good balance.

 

Smyrna, it goes without saying but number 8 and number 2 are both hitters who wrap up.  Number 8 is especially so.  Two great hits that threw the rb off their feet and backwards.

 

I would REALLY like an explanation for that 'unsportsman like' dead ball call against Smyrna.

 

Zebras as well as players are just getting started also, and they NEED practice.

Just like Oakland and riverdale games, this rivalry usually produces especially chippy games. I wasn't at the game but you are the second person to comment how bad the refs were for both teams.
