Sequatchie was effective running the ball, not many big gains but kept moving the chains and taking time off the clock. They allowed some passes but made some good plays too, pass knocked down inside the 10 on fourth down, and big play, 80 yd interception return just after losing the ball on a kickoff return. Good win on the road, and good support from.the large visiting crowd.

Smith's horn was loud. Glad we didn't have to hear it at the end of the game. Smith's crowd was large and really into the game. Great atmosphere, and a much better region fit for Sequatchie than what they were nearly in, Chattanooga group.

Only one so called valley team has a winning record against Smith Co. Most of Jaspers wins came in the 80s and early 90s when they were loaded and had the talent and athletes to play with the Brentwood Acadamy private schools of that time.
