Question for Gomob

I have a question about Travis Tate being ranked 73...if I am not mistaken in all your previous polls he was somewhere around 20. Do you feel he has gotten worse over the last few years. Or is it based on the fact that he was on your AAU team and quit because it was poorly coached and organized?

C'mon now. Who are you to judge whether and AAU program is poorly coached and organized. From the people i've talked to, and I do talk to plenty of people, Jeremy's program is real well ran. How do you think he gets in the MAJOR summer tourney without being a NIKE of Adidas team?

As for Travis, I really like the kid, and to be ranked at all is a great acheivement. There are a number of very good kids out there that did not get ranked, yet probably should have been (aka Randell Harrell)..... Tate has not been highly ranked in quite a long time (about the same time Demetrious Sticker was in my Top 15). Tate is a good player, and should fit into a Division II or III school very well. I could see him making an impact at a Maryville College or Carson-Newman, etc.... The best of luck to Travis as he comes back from his injury, and as a future college player....
