I'm sure, just as the last few years, Central think they can end the streak, but just as Lebanon failed to do last week. I think they get a dose of reality this Friday. Although I see a close game, and I'm not totally ruling out Central. MJ 31 Central 21

For sure, I'm not sold on a winning record yet... They still have to prove they can compete with GOOD competition.

I think they are actually pretty good possibly. The Gallatin game was close ( on scoreboard, but it just seemed like GHS had a handle on that game) & the Ravenwood game being as close as it was. The only game that leaves me stunned is the Cane Ridge game. Hopefully for the Bears sake, that game was a fluke. I feel the same way about the Gallatin/ Henry County game being as lop-sided as it went. Both of those games would be MUCH closer if they played again IMO.

I got to go with my grandkids school....................Go Wildcats!! Should be a good game; WC is the better running team, and MJ must have the passing edge (being a spread team now). However I am prejudiced on (2) counts................grandkids rule!!, and I prefer the run game in HS football.

It is a big game for both teams.............should be a great game.

Win or lose WC has the better players. If WC gives the ball away 3 times to MJ like they did to McGavick they will have trouble winning. If WC has long runs called back again, they will have trouble winning. If 23 doesn't touch the ball 10 times they will have trouble winning.

Formula to WC win, Bowes 20 carries Hooper and Wilson 10 carries each its that simple.

I will admit, Central usually has the quicker athletes... Yet it can't ever translate to a win versus MJ. I don't think anyone noticed our Defense has let up 12 points a game in our last 3. It will take more than just handing it off to 2 players to beat us. I don't see WC matching up with our spread.

Yeah I noticed that. He was pretty weak in the McGavock game. All I'm going to say is how great Bowes and Hooper are, along with how well the other boys do when they get their chances. In fact I would say we have 5 or 6 backs that would be better than any of MJs backs and if we passed 15 times a game our QB would have better numbers than MJs because he and our receivers are better than theirs.

 

#23 is my son and I will not apologize for believing he should run the ball 10 times a game. Regardless of what it looks like from where we set, he puts everything he has into every game. He knows when he messes up and it eats on him long after everyone has moved on to the next game. You are worried about him making a block, I am just thankful he's around to miss a block.
