McCallie at Baylor

OK...I'll start this.....but I really don't have any idea who will win this historic rivalry game in 2015. In past years, it always seemed like there was a clear favorite, but this year not so much. If there is a favorite it would be a 51-49 split.

Now, I hope McCallie plays their best game of the year and beats Baylor by a couple of touchdowns.  That would be nice.

Wow - great video!  That's well-produced trash talking!!!

I haven't seen McCallie play this year, but based on their results, they must be very good.  They always have tons of speed, and the QB is a threat to go the distance on every play.  I know Baylor is very good, so this should be a great game.

By the way, Chattanooga is beautiful.  I love that city.

Actually Craig is not playing much at QB - Riddle is, and he is not a threat to take it to the house.  Honestly, when Craig has played QB, he hasn't been nearly as effective this year running the ball.  I think the loss of Trotter has a lot to do with Craig not being as effective.

Riddle has been surprising with his passing, and it has allowed Craig to play safety which has helped the defense - so it's a win-win.

My bad!  I just assumed Craig was still QB, because he was so good last year.  Trotter was a beast, and paired with Craig made a scary 1-2 punch.

Nuggets for this game:

-McCallie's last win at Baylor's campus came 8 years ago

-Both Qb's making their first B/M start

-70% chance of rain

-Contrary to what a cocky (yet very well done and creative) video may suggest- Baylor is 6-1 in the last 6 years including a playoff win over blue

Anywho, I'll echo what was said earlier- don't remember a Baylor McCallie matchup that was so close on paper in recent years. I think depth is going to be a huge key.  Baylor wins if the D stays off the field.  McCallie wins if they take care of the ball. HOT TAKE!

Stunned is all I can say...and congratulations to Baylor.

McCallie has never looked so slow and soft as tonight. There are a few things to mention, but they will come later.  The bottom line is Baylor kicked McCallie's #### and they deserved the win 100%.

Very, very disappointed in the Blue Tornado.  They were barely a tiny rain shower tonight.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
