Round 1- Westview vs Melrose

I was referring to vehicle security in the parking lot. A few years ago, several Westview fans had windows busted and items stolen.

 

Im just having fun, I'm positive it'll be a very heavy police presence there in the parking lot area. Unfortunately the parking lot is very small and most people park on the side streets surrounding around the stadium when the crowd is big. Melrose stadium used to sell out every game they had. Can't say if that's true or not now. My advice is get there early or you'll be parking on one of the streets surrounding the school.

I was at a game over behind Central a couple of weeks ago. Lots of good people there and great atmosphere. Felt perfectly safe and there was plenty of security.

Have not heard the actual numbers, but we probably had double the yardage 3times to the 30 with no points, we threw the ball 1 too many times in the 4th and they turned it into points. Wishing our seniors the best of luck in the future, and expect the character they learned through the past 10yrs of Football will convert into making some very productive citizens. Wouldnt be surprised to see some of these young men on a sideline somewhere in about 10yrs calling the shots!

Props to Coach Coady---heard he is hanging it up. With that record, it speaks for itself. Will be interesting to see who the replacement is, if what I'm hearing is true about his tenure coming to an end.......at Westview.

 

WV is pretty easy to gameplan...contain the runners/dump off passes and make the QB throw it past 5 yards.....good chance for an INT.

 

Don't see Melrose beating Liberty though.....totally different type of team, who can pretty much match athletes.
