Riund 3: Marshall County @ East Hamilton

Knew this was a possibility, but I still cannot figure out how the TSSAA comes up with a rule that makes Marshall County travel this week.  I don't understand how the the number 2 team from Region 4 gets to host East Hamilton but the number 1 team from Region 4 has to go on the road.  The rule even-odd year rule for who hosts in the quarters and semis should only apply when two teams have the same seed.  This is nothing against any of the teams mentioned.  It just makes so little sense to me.  But nothing can be done now.  

 

Don't know a ton about East Hamilton, but I would anticipate this being a really good matchup.   I've read plenty about them being well-coached and athletic.  That's always a scary matchup as you progress in the playoffs.

Then the broadcasters reported something happened at the EH vs SM game but were unsure of the details. Was also reported there was a fight. Then I heard from someone at your game that it was four qtrs of ball with EH on top. Rumor mill? What Happened?

Yeah I looked at it. Whoever it is that reported that must have been on the wrong game or was just fooling around. Couldn't have been more wrong in the box score or the reporting.

I anticipate this being a very close game. I don't know anything about Marshall County other than they sound like a clone of East Ham. Big, athletic, balanced offense with relentless defense. Should be an excellent 3rd round matchup.
