District 12 A

District and region are both scheduled to be held in Linden at PCHS. I'm sure the coach was referring to the District meeting which is held in Waynesboro.

Ok, that's what I had heard from a couple of different people. I know on the boys and girls side, whoever plays PC will have their work cut out on their home floor and big fan turnout.

TSSAA website has Wayne Co as the region site. District is not posted yet.

To see it, go to tssaa.org, click on "Sports" tab, select winter sports, then basketball, scroll down and click "Post season tournament directors", in the drop down box select either "Girls or Boys Basketball", and it will have the Districts listed that have reported their host site, and further down the page it has the regions.

The Summertown High School website says District Tournament @ Waynesboro High School. I heard the region has been moved to PC so that one school is not hosting both.

Now today Summertown has changed it to PC. Not sure what's going on with that. I was under the impression one school could not host both.

Both Summertown coaches had told me two weeks ago that the district and region were in Perry County.

Looks like a drive to Linden will be scheduled.

Not sure why it is such a big deal. If i was from Summertown or any other district team i'd rather go to Linden than waynesboro. You have more room to sit and plus better viewing areas.

True, i do not like the bleachers on the visitors side.

But,

1. I hate the drive to PC

2. Would someone rather play PC at their place or WC at their place?

I'd rather play Wayne County at their place to be honest. Perry County's playing good ball but they have another big test tonight as they head to Clifton to play the Lady Lions.
