Congrats to trezevant on the Win. But gotta say great game MC! Trezvant had more talent and size than most 5A schools they should have blown mc off the field but the warriors fought all game and were in position to win. A heartbreaking loss to say the least but this sp poster is very proud of the young men that gave it their all for MC you guys played your hearts outs and thats all you can do!

Pretty big statement since they were there twice in 4a and are 0-2....

They weren't there this year. I usually don't deal in hypotheticals...but they did win at Ensworth this year. CPA beat both 4a finalists fairly easliy...and they didn't win 3a. They also lost to Ensworth. .

Pearl is middle tn not west. Fulton, Catholic, Greeneville, Pearl Cohn, Knox central, memphis east (who beat trezevant by 3 TDs in the regular season),marshall county would beat them. Yes they have a great back in Richardson but it's tough to be one dimensional in 4a.

The Real Only Reason it was close is bad officiating early. Old Pirate sat with some Jasper kinfolkes and they were at least honest in saying luck.......was on Jasper's side. Congrats to the Warriors for a great season and displaying a never quit attitude against a bigger, faster more talented team. CONGRATS to the Bears, you have a load of talented players & hopefully your 1st State Championship is huge accomplishment. Good to you young men that face challenging distractions regularly.
