You got me! I'm not an expert by all means. Been wrong many times in the past and will continually to be wrong in the future. In regards to Adamsville, after they played y'all in September, they played their whole region, two out of state teams, and Middleton. And yes, they cruised into the playoffs. After, Trinity played Adamsville, they made the switch and put Goldsmith at QB, played their whole region, and South Gibson and Scotts Hill. From a numbers standpoint, I understand. Majority of 2A teams will deal with that issue. That's the pride and joy of watching "Small Town High School Football," even though Jackson is not a small town by any means. Intense brought up the depth standpoint and I understand. However, somehow and someway, you can get kids into the locker room. USJ added about 13 kids to their team, all 13 were hall way kids. Is it hard? Yes. Can it be done? It should.

We did not play South Gibson with Goldsmith at QB. If we had it would have been a 3 to 4 TD win. We lost by 4 or 5 in last few seconds with the other QB.

You guys got much better when Goldsmith went to QB. You would have been a good challenge for Trezvant if he we're not injured.

Game day. We open for the 4th year facing St. George. Tough team every year. Time to see where our boys stand. Our line should be able to compete. Skills still have to prove themselves. They have the talent and ability. Time to prove to themselves that they can compete with the big boys. Last year we got throttled in this game and then went on to a story book season. Looking forward to seeing the this group of young men come together and start their own story. Go Lions!!!! We believe

Go Lions!! Look forward to a great season! No one gets more out of 29 players than Coach Butler. If it can be done he will do it!
