Exactly what I expected.  Nobody said the wrestler cheated nor was on weight.  Only asked why there was not a weigh-in for a wrestle-off.  Not hard to decipher.  In all my years of wrestling, I have never heard of a wrestle-off where the competitors did not have to weigh-in.

So are you saying the Blackman kid cheated or was not on weight? 

How would anyone know if the wrestler was on weight if they didn't require him to weigh-in in front of everyone before the match?  I have been told that the assistant coach from FR was informed when he arrived at the challenge match site that a weigh-in would not take place.  He then ask the other wrestler to step onto the scales to see what his weight was and someone informed him that they were not going to step on the scales and the wrestler was not required to step on the scales before the match.  This is just another case of people playing very loose with the rules and pretty much doing what they want with little if any regard for other people.

 

Do I feel the Blackman wrestler cheated?  NO, he is not an adult and did exactly what the adults that were in control of the situation told him to do.

Ok come on guys, grow up. First off, its Coach K's team. As in his rules go. You may not have ever heard of someone not having to weigh in for wrestle offs but its not your team. You may not like it or agree with it, but its not your decision.

 

Cbg, you can't use what you heard as factual unless you were there yourself to witness it. Otherwise it just becomes the phone game.

 

It all boils down to if you don't like it start your own team and make your own rules.

Exactly what I expected here.  My whole contention is that I have never heard of having wrestle-off's and not weighing in.  Yes, Coach Kramer was one of the coaches for the team; however, it is not his team just like it is not my team.  And yes, he can also make any rules he likes.  That was not the discussion.  Don't be so stupid on here and save us all some time.  The team belongs to the wrestlers and the state of Tennessee as they were basically having a Dual Match which represented wrestle-off's.  Yes, they even had weigh-ins.

Why can you not talk about it intelligently instead of the old stupid saying, "if you don't like, make your own team".  This gets old and has lost its luster.

Ok so to recap:

Don't ever ever ever have a wrestle off without a weighin with all party's present. Coach Kramer will communicate better (thanks for all you do Coach, people forget how much). Voice in the crowd will help with this in some way maybe. Cbg will help also by reffing or traveling with the team or something. Bray will provide facilities and be his charming self (ppka). Hopefully we will all go on with life, win or lose.

Will there be a challenge scale at the future challenge match weigh ins? Or at least a 30 minute grace period just in case they're over weight?
