I was wrong about CPA

If u read Tygers GQ article he talks about how he only came to CPA because the TSSAA is one of the only high school organizations to let 8th graders play varsity without losing a year of ineligibility also Braxton Blackwell came because he wasn't making the necessary grades to stay at MBA and sat out a year I'm not saying CPA doesn't recruit but this team is proving all the people who said CPA would be nothing without recruits because no players on this years team are recruits

Ok now at some point there was contact between him and someone affiliated with CPA.  He didn't just randomly show up.  Blackwell didn't randomly show up at CPA either, he was a highly touted recruit if i remember correctly and by the way if you couldn't pass the curriculum at MBA what makes all of us think he would be any better at CPA?  Thank you for your honesty and if you have a team that has kids that have worked together and grown up together then great!  If their parents are paying for them to go to school there then i'm good with it, best of luck to them and i mean that.  This would be an anomaly for a CPA team that's for sure!

Saw so many posts in recent years that said stuff like "lets see if Maddox can still win when he has to play against teams with more or equal talent"

 

Ensworth has more talent than CPA does this year. If you can't acknowledge that is an impressive job by Maddux to beat them on Saturday night, then your not even being honest with yourself. You don't have to like him, and yet you can still admit that was an impressive coaching job. Some of y'all are so fueled by hate that you cant even see straight.

They certainly had much less talent than J.O. Johnson. They had a chance to win that game. They looked very well coached to me.
