You guys will be fine.Just trying to get in the swing for football and liven up the boards a little.A lot of Coach T'ers like coming to our region because it is a tough region and we seem to keep the threads lively compared to some of the other boring ones.I've read about some teams that have 50 pages but put me to sleep.Have had a lot of people talk to me in person and say we like reading about you guys.Just havent been able to coax Purple,Swo out of hiding yet.And my ole buddy Chipper Jones.I figure he'll be calling my cell phone  ,laughing about me trying to get the UC faithful riled up..But then again.Maybe not.He may not call me.He's traded in his Purple and Gold for Black and Gold of Dyersburg.He's a traitor...lol

Do you mean Black and Gold of DRESDEN?

Uc got exposed. HC was bigger, faster, and stronger. I have not seen our boys get whooped up front at the line of scrimmage like HC did to us Friday night in a long time. Uc can go all the way to Cookville in 1A or 2A and not ever run into another team that dominate as HC was. That being said I think it was good for our boys to get thumped like they did.

Y'all scored 21 and we had backups in while y'all had starters in the 2nd. I remember that game very well. It was 7-7 with starters. And that was a young Dyersburg team and that was probably y'alls best team ever.

We had 28 in '14 I believe. Anyway you still got smacked by a 1A school.

And you didn't pick us to play this year. Go back to your own thread.

We beat Dburg twice in the jambo...Score 21 then 28...One of the games we had 5 or 6 starters out...

3x's

We scored 21 in '13, 28 in '14, and 21 in '15.

 

Anyway I'll use a quote I've seen during these Olympics. "Losers focus on winners, winners focus on winning". Sums up a lot.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
