Good run young men! H-Town is proud. Now, its time to go to work!

We lose two seniors that could play multi positions, shoot, rebound and play D....And they did it with the right attitude!

They left the same mark on basketball that they left on football...Grievous hard work, long hours, commitment to academics and team, treated everyone as an equal...and they did it without emotion.

We have talent left, no doubt and more talent coming up....But being a good high school player takes work  and sacrifice that few are willing to put in...And it takes the right attitude that few work at to posses.

Football is a good place to start IMO...It teaches hard work, endurance, picking yourself up and going on when the going is rough...It also teaches TEAM!

We've been to the 'boro THREE straight years, always knocking on the door....Make a goal not to be the team to break the streak!

Commit to work together with one another, as a TEAM, Seniors to Freshmen, molding talent & encouraging every single player to be what Hampton Basketball IS!

 

To Coby and Nate, we've had a BLAST watching you!

Great post,Big shoe's to fill but with the right attitude and work ethic,it can be done. I agree that football teaches a lot mental and physical toughness it takes to compete at a high level.

And if you're not mentally tuff, and a team player with the right attitude, the court at the boro will be the last place you will step foot on.

Fun to watch and carried himself in a very mature and respectful manner. Pure Class all the way. We've been blessed with some outstanding role models, hope the younger one's seen how you go about it.
