Region 4-4a

Recommended Posts

If the rest of Spring Hill fans are anything like you, no wonder you can't keep a coach! You've got a built in excuse for everything. You constantly trash and belittle every other program. (Including the ones in your own region!) You accuse people of cheating and so on and so forth.

Yeah, I can't imagine why your coach would be looking for somewhere else to go 2 weeks into the season...

I still say Rudderville puts a whipping on your Raiders Friday night. Yet again. And that Benjamin is still on the table if you want to take your chances. Just lemme know.

Well Swarm you were right about Page. Very well coached team and had a couple of decent athletes. I am man enough to eat my crow. I am very proud of my Raiders though. We were by far the more athletic team but it will take some time to learn how to win these games. We are on the right track I believe. Congrats Pats and good luck going forward.

Sounds like it was an exciting game that could have went either way. Page is stronger than most give them credit for IMO. Not necessarily littered with elite athletes but they're stout up front. Especially on the Dline.

Good luck to your Raiders from here on out. I'm sure you guys are going to have a great season. ðŸ‘

updated rankings for Region 4:

1. Marshall Co

2. Page

3. Spring Hill

4. Giles Co

5. Lawrence Co.

6. Tullahoma

Great win Page! It took all 3 phases vs a much improved Spring Hill team to get that win. This team just needs to keep growing each week and they can take the region!

Sn: How impressive was that Freshman RB?!

Yea I know you wouldn't. Gotta watch out for those paper champs. Luckily for Page, it's football we're talking about.

Hahahaha...Paper champs. Just like when Page beat us last year for the region champipnship...oh wait...they didnt. Edited by leadfarmer

Wouldn't call them paper champions! I would call them cheaters though. TSSAA is investigating their "transfers". Also curious to see what will happen with the car dealership chipping in on Bo's salary among other things. Funny how Marshall fans think renting or living with boyfriend is considered Bona Fide change of address. Anyways Page will not make a game of it this year. I do think we have a shot to match athletes with them which gives us a shot at least.

If the mail is coming to that address then that's bona fide enough. If it wasn't on the up and up the kid wouldn't have played a single down this season. The kid transfered at Christmas last year. Spring hill will take its annual beating too. You must be a liberal judging from all the excuses you make for your team as to why they can't win. Edited by leadfarmer

    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
    • 1A: Brayden Baker - Eagleville Rylan Collins - Lookout Valley Luke Treece - Coalfield   2A: Carter Daniel - Loretto Gray Eubanks - Huntingdon Trevan Myers - Pigeon Forge   3A: Gabe Eddington - Montgomery Central Carson Parrott - Livingston Academy Jaxon Walker - Loudon   4A: Eli Evans - Farragut Andrew Hill - Central  Brady Scott - Sevier County   Division II-A: Wesley Alig - CAK Cooper Jones - Boyd Buchanan Gunner Skelton - Columbia Academy   Division II-AA Brock Beddingfield - CPA Dominic Monaco - Brentwood Academy Tomas Valincius - Baylor
