JCS travels to Halls

JCS comes to Halls after 2 losses to quality opponents. Halls has 1 win against average 1a team. Game Friday was canceled and will not be made up. Time to see were we actually stand. Maybe the rest with week off is good or will it make us rusty. Gonna be interesting to see how this one goes. Should be a fun game!

All I know about the JC QB is he went out with about 4minutes left in the 2nd quarter and did not return. I'm not saying that Jackson Christian could beat Halls if he was to play,  but if he doesn't play,  then JC if diffidently not going to win.  He is about the only offensive threat they have.

I have to agree, I think halls takes this one. Jcs just doesn't have the speed. I'd like to see #21 for halls get more touches, he had very few against lake

county. If they feed him the ball I don't think jcs has a kid on their team that could consistently guard him.

I agree 21 needs more touches for sure. The loss of 80 on other side hurts a lil as he was always a deep threat. Hopefully 5 can continue to be a threat to help keep pressure off 21

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
