I do love a good funnel cake. I can only control if my son is a bandwagon jumper not the whole other WBMS team. I believe if talent sticks around WB it gives other talent a reason to stick around. I have another son coming up in the program that has amazing size just hasn't put it all together yet. So I have a vested interest in the program.

Maryville middle is a good team. And this year's 8th graders are between 2 classes that are loaded. And the garbage service goes from Alabama to Kentucky now. I wouldn't be chalking up future victories yet.

I didn't say they are a bad team. I know most of the boys very well, they are great young men as well as player. We were the better team this time and it was a much deserved win for our boys and our program. I still think if this team stays together and continues to play football they way they have it will not be there last win against Maryville. It doesn't matter if the pipeline goes all the way to California, unless you were born and raised here you do not understand the rivalry between WB and Maryville or Maryvile and Alcoa and etc.

I do think the middle school team at Alcoa is loaded and is going to be nasty as they grow together. I'm more concerned about them down the road.

Very true and good point. But that can be said for any of the middle schools boys (mine included). Depends on who has a good work ethic and wants to work hard to continue to get better. I know a few at Alcoa that have that in them and those are the ones I'm referring too.
