What makes you think he could start on any Marion county team? I believe Grundy has 2 backs with more yards per carry than the player we are talking about.

Wingo is a better back than any back Whitwell has right now and he is a Sophomore I believe.

Upperman likes to throw lots of quick screens , taking advantage of mismatches in the secondary and in space. Essentially this is just and extension of the running game. When you try to out number them or match up they then have a good enough running-back to gash you through the tackles. It's a pick your poison type deal. They don't seem to throw the ball real well down the field, but that could have something to do with competition they've faced thus far.

 

GC Lbers and DBs are going to have to play physical football with uppermans WRs. Lots of contact, and violent play needed to deal with it.

 

Upperman has a program now. That's a lot of kids on their sidelines...

We have lost numerous student athletes. Parents are tired of how things go on and get swept under the rug. Also, if they have a son they fear of what's being said to their child or what's being done to them in the locker room. Until our leaders step up and enforce punishment on the football coaching staff things will continue. I'm just fortunate my nephew doesn't have much longer there.

It doesn't all fall on the coaches for the actions that 16-18 year old kids are doing..how bout some parents step up in their kids lives and show em some discipline..a 16-18 year old kid doesn't need his hand held and told what to do and how to do it..if he doesn't know right from wrong that's the utter failure on the parents hands not the coaches..what can a coach do besides make a kid run sprints or other form of excercising? He can't lay hands on them that's not his place to yea he can kick them off the team or suspend them a game or two but are the kids learning their lesson? The answer is prolly not so how bout we start holding parents accountable for the actions that their children make..maybe then and only then will parents start disciplining their children and show them how to be adults..I'm not saying it's all parents but let's face it the ones that are raised right don't cause no trouble..it's not the job of the coach or the teacher to babysit and make a kid behave their job is only to teach them the essential tools to survive on their own..otherwise this process will continue to repeat itself forever..

Grundy has potential to be very productive on the football field. Too many chiefs not enough Indians. Have you ever been to school board meeting there? It's hilarious.. I know people who would rather watch those meetings on GCTV than watch a national championship game.. smh
