Just saying that the teams are pretty even from 1 through 4 in the district. Both of our games with Oakdale came down to the wire and we handed Wartburg their only district loss. Anybodies game come tournament time.

Grace and Harriman are clearly favorites to win the region but that's why we play the game.Heck, we gave Grace all they wanted in the region last year.

I mentioned the other day that you all and Oakdale are the scariest teams to me come tournament time from that district. You both have the pieces to do it

I must say... Very surprised to see OD dispose of Harriman at Harriman. Might be time to give the Eagles some credit...

Wartburg only lost by 4 to Harriman in the first game They lost big in the second one but had traveled to jellico the night before Back to back games and it being at Jellico had to have some impact on the game D4 is not as far off as some might think

Maybe the region tournament is a lot more wide open than I thought. Congrats to the eagles for pulling out a big win.

I heard McClain had 10 pts. I have said all year that if you stop McClain from penetrating then you pretty much stop Harriman. Joe Pace will get his 16-20 but it's McClain that had to have 22-30 night in and night out for them to win the big games. I think their bench has a had 2pts and 3pts in the two games vs GCA. 

 

I give some props to Oakdale. I always like Maverick Smith and playing them is scrappy scrappy proposition. 

 

It was Senior Night at GCA - Arnold put in 20 and Tellico went down 77 to 46. We held them to 22 in the 2nd half. it was 29-22 at the half. GCA played some Senior bench guys early as we should have and it made us a little out of sync. But when we got back to the normal rotations whew, what a 3rd quarter. 

 

GCA at Meigs Friday night. I guess they will let the prisoners out to go to the game in Decatur. Clear the hospital, roll in the nursing home patients. Meigs loves to turn out and hate them some Grace. Looking forward to going into the Tiger Den and seeing what Sammy has for us.

No kids were out. Coalfield is complete trash, they had the guts to accuse us of recruiting. Seriously the best joke of the year.
