Final - NCS 20 - 17. MTC had a great game plan to take advantage of NCS missing their DI nose tackle/TE. Great game. MTC is a really good team especially at home.

I would agree. MTC was in the NCS backfield all night. Multiple sacks and TFL. NCS line didn't appear to stay with their blocks. Coaches will get it corrected for next week.

Even if Lawless was out, with the other athletes NC has, I can't understand MTCS could even keep it close.

That looking ahead will bite u every time! This should of been a one sided game imo

Lawless opens up things for their athletes to run and make plays. Most teams say well he didn't do anything to us, but look at the penetration he gets which causes runners to go sideways (helping their athletes run the ball down) or if he gets blocked how many blockers did he tie up which frees up their athletes to run to the ball unblocked. No he does not make a ton of tackles but we enables others to do is tremendous.

What about on offense?

 

I watched Trousdale County destroy Middle Tennessee Christian last week.... I didn't think that Trousdale had a chance against Nashville Christian. If Middle Tennessee Christian was able to keep it that close and hold them to 20 points then yeah Trousdale County sure has a chance.

Steel, not if they play the way they did tonight. Came out flat, very flat. And had an injury that doesn't look good. They will need a game like they had a week ago to have a chance.

 

TC needed NCS to win tonight. The Eagles win sets up a true Region Championship with the winner getting 1st. If TC loses they end up 3rd with gville #2. Win and NCS #2 and Gville is 3rd.
