A full set of playoff possibilities going into this week's games is now posted at

Along with it, an explanation of the possible deep tiebreaks:

Note that these do not include the effects of the Thursday games of week 10-- a new version that does will be up by tonight's kickoffs.

And with Week 10 taken into account:

(Actually, determining the possibilities isn't the hard part. I've got that mostly automated. The biggest time-consumer is translating them from math notation into English. Second-biggest is researching who has winning records for the third tiebreak.)

Triple tie, everyone 1-1 in the group. Next tiebreak is overall wins. Ensworth and McCallie would have 7, BA 6. So the Eagles drop out, and you go back to head-to-head, which gives Ensworth second (MBA is clear first). Then McCallie gets third on the head-to-head over BA. (In the east, the importance is that 3rd or better earns a first-round bye, and 2nd or better a home quarterfinal.)

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
