Boyd vs The Seachickens

The events of this story is true to the best of my recollection.

 

Silverdale was undefeated and we were having an off year. Before the game I saw coach standing just out side the locker room. I said "coach, I hope you're up by 70 late....score on a long play....and go for 2.....because they won't let you go for 3". That's the same thing I said every year. Most of the time he'd just laugh it off but this time he said " I'd like to score as time was running out needing a pat to tie. I'd send the FG unit out then call time out. Send the O back out power right. He'll call time out. Then we'll go either option left or screen left. AJ will walk in untouched"

 

Later that night we score in OT needing a pat to tie and I started yelling "we're going for 2"

#14s dad said "the FG unit is on the field ". I said "wait and see." After the 2point scored he asked "how did you know?"

Because coach called his shot before the game.
