Memphis East and Brentwood Academy could beat any team in the state on any given night in any environment even when they are not on their best A game. BA has beat East two consecutive summers but i wont say that they are better but its possible they could win in a season event also. Size wise it shouldnt be a contest ever since BA's tallest kid is 6'5 and east has around 5 kids taller than that but BA is the best in the state when it comes to execution and Hubie is the best coach in the state arguably. Could list a few other stellar teams but they are 1&2for sure.

BA & East are both in the City of Palms in Fl. I doubt they meet down there but it is a possibility. Christian Brothers I agree isn't far behind and for the same reasons as BA. One of the best coached teams in the state.

If they both win there First round games they will meet in quarterfinals BA plays Pebblebrook Ga who has Colin Sexton who was the leading scorer in the Eybl and East plays Pace Academy Ga who has Wendall Carter who is a top 5 player in the class of 2017

    • Is it conceivable that BJ West will maintain his ardor if it necessitates forgoing attendance at his progeny's culminating year of scholastic endeavors? Such a scenario appears implausible upon closer scrutiny.
    • Wartburg heading to state for the first time in school history. Braylen Melton (sophomore) threw a 1 hitter today against North Greene.
    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
    • biggest....just saying he is good at what he does. I may or may not have already floated this out his way.   He is a good guy!
    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co. My dark horse candidate
