Certainly was an exciting game the last time these two teams played. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Znds-lTbfOo

There were several NCS players complaining of dirty play (scratching faces, eyes, groin punches) during tackles back four years ago. Hopefully this will be a clean hard fought game this time.

Cwood has a new coach that teaches a lot of discipline, good clean game against them in WC tonight.

That's good to know. I just watched some of the 2011 WC championship game against South Pitt. Wow, those Rice kids at QB are clones of each other. Just amazing how flawless their footwork when passing and dazzling when running the option.

What really amazed me was the defense of that team. Ouch! Bone jarring hits. They blew up South Pitt's plays and caused chaos. In your opinion how does this year's WC defense compare with the 2011 team maybe on a 1-10 scale.

The 2011 defense was one of the best WC has ever had, hard to compare with it. That year started eleven seniors on both sides of the ball, this year we have some younger kids starting so we've got to watch our defense get better each week. The past three or four weeks they have played tough disciplined football like us WC fans have been used to watching.

Quarterfinals when NCS traveled to Wayne County a few years back was rough. Matt Ogle, NCS QB who went on to play college ball, through 5 int's that game. Great defense that season by Wayne County

Collinwood has only three senior starters but most of the   younger players have a lot of experience.  They havent really put it together this year although they won six and lost two in overtime on the road.  definitely an up and coming team with its best games ahead of it   If you had seen where they were last year you would relate to the vast improvement
