karl98
Who are the new players Memphis East has picked up?
TonyG
Freshman Jalen Brown, Chandler Lawson and Kennedy Chandler will be the only new faces on the floor regularly. Senior Ryan Boyce transferred over from Houston, pending transfer eligibility that adds another top 150 player added to an overpowered team. Dragonmaster
Are Boyce's parents moving from Collierville. There are limited ways a student athlete can transfer.

Ryan has been at east since the end of last school year. You have Jonathan lawson, Kennedy chandler, jalen brown, and james wiseman. All those guys are pretty good. James wiseman is top 5 in his class.
TonyG
TJ Moss just announced on espn radio that he's going to Findlay Prep. Well really his dad announced it lol
karl98
How about DJ Jeffries?
terop
Looks like East will be losing Dude McCollum as well as Moss...but if they get Wiseman and Boyce in plus those three freshmen, they will not miss a beat
TonyG
They could honestly lose half the team and still 3peat. its alot of young talent in the state now, especially the 901 area and Idk if they are ready to step up just yet. Lomax, Dandridge and both Lawsons could get it done by themselves if they had to imo.
karl98
So Wiseman moved to Binghamton from Nashville? And Boyce moved to Binghamton from Collierville? What's the loop hole to make these superstars eligible?
thegame523
Not that I know or have any knowledge, but the Wiseman one would really surprise me. His home school Ensworth has been continually promoting all of his accomplishments all summer on their IG account. Not many leave Ensworth either. Not saying it isn't happening or hasn't already happened. I don't know but I certainly would be very very surprised.

Most SCS schools will enroll students without regard for where they live because they have open enrollment or are optional schools. Once you have an athletic record with a state organization, there must be a change in residence, custody change, or parental job change for a student to be ruled eligible. Ryan is a good kid. He will be successful anywhere.
