Why hasn't this been posted yet? Who takes the win this year? Page or Fairview?

Since the game is played in Fairview, I'm thinking Coach Hughes and squad will have a few surprises in store for the visiting team from the east.

Sunday night's Wicked Tuna Outer Banks could teach all of us a lesson, the smallest boat in the show caught 3 Big Tunas, after weighting in the fish at the dock, then it went back to fishing by out running the larger boats to the area where the big fish are biting. Small and fast might be better than big and slow!!!!

Best of luck to both teams and prayers that everyone stays healthy!

Fairview is playing a tough schedule this year to try to prepare them for the Metro region teams in the playoffs.  Page, Ravenwood, Waverly, White House-Heritage, and Greenbrier are all good football teams.  In the region Cheatham County, Sycamore, Camden, and Harpeth were all teams that won 5+ games last season and will contend for the 6-3A title this year.  I don't see them going 10-0 this year.  They'll do well to finish the regular season at 7-3.  With that having been said they are everyone's consensus pick to win the Region Championship and have home field advantage in the playoffs.

Page makes the jump to 5A.  They play Williamson County games with Fairview, Nolensville, and Ravenwood this season. Their region schedule includes Columbia, Shelbyville, Lincoln County, Franklin County, Summit, and White County.  Factor in a game against an athletic Metro school like Antioch and you quickly see that Page plays a very challenging schedule this season.

Fairview's starting tailback and perhaps biggest playmaker will not play tonight.

Aside from that, most of the skill position guys and linebackers are new. We do return our QB and several lineman.

No idea what Page returns or what to expect tonight. I bet it's a hard fought game though.  Go Jackets!
