Rhea County Golden Eagles Play host to Blackman

We lost one of our starting running backs tonight in the 2nd quarter, maybe for the season. Our QB had the get an ankle re-taped and was limping pretty bad late in the game. We gave up two long passes for TDs and one came with only 9 seconds left to go. We need to do some healing this week, fix a few holes, and correct some mental mistakes before next Friday.

We can't find any refs around here to pay. I guess we will just have to hope we can get lucky enough to have a few good plays they don't whistle....(Hard to believe there would be bad refs out there)

Don't worry Blackman we are not that bad ref wise. McMinn is the worst nor will it be like that time you played up in Bowling Green. I remember that game well, now that game was just aweful all the way around. 

 

Im looking forward to watching Teague next Friday. He is such a good running back.

Which way is the best way to come up,? Should I go to Chatt and over or up the backway?

The fastest way is to take hwy 70 to McMinnville. Then hwy 8 till you hit 111. Take 111 south to hwy 27 north and it will take you straight into Dayton. That's the quick way. Better than going down monteagle and dealing with Chattanooga traffic

Much obliged... never been up that way and wasn't real sure what the roads might be like and moreover if there were a bunch of stops on the way

This way is less congested and is all hwy instead of interstate

Be sure to get there a little early, traffic can be bad getting into Eagle Stadium.
