No, it wouldn't be sweet. I don't want my Pirates to get mercy ruled by Marion County. Although, it wouldn't affect the ultimate prize which is trying to play for a state title. It would destroy confidence for our team. A tough, hard fought loss is one thing. Getting destroyed and mercy ruled is another.

it only destroys the confidence of the pirate fans cause its Jasper.....the players probably hanle it better than all U cheerleaders

mercy rule might b a little strecth tight now......have to see how much a fight Injuns Squatchy team puts up tomorrow night

Booger just sayin :D

Getting mercy ruled will usually destroy confidence of a team and fan base. As I said earlier, losing a tough, hard fought football game is one thing, being mashed and mercy ruled is another.

sure no that feelin....but that contest between Kimbrell South and Kimbrell North has its on set of feelins...regardless of outcome

.......can change everything from the number of visits Dillard can make to the Red Eye, to the temperature  of that South Battle Creek Calamari at Stevarinos

Squatch wins easy this week. No way two miracles happen in first two weeks. Pirates paid the refs in gold for the first win but I bet the Mary's won't have enough on the field for da Squatch.

SC 38

Mary's 7

I would actually believe in a Sasquatch before I would believe this score lol.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
