VARSITY FB SCHEDULE         

Aug 18th @ Trinity Christian 

Aug 25th Johnson Co. @ Home

Sept 1st @ Happy Valley*

Sept 8th @ GP

Sept 15th @ BYE

Sept 22nd @ David Crockett

Sept 29th @ Sull North* (we played there last year...Gunner been pulling some strings to get back-to-back home games!)

Oct 6th Cloudland @ Home

Oct 13th South Greene* @ Home (Homecoming)

Oct 19th Unaka @ Home (Thursday night game?)

Oct 27th Cosby* @ Home

*District Games

 

Strange Schedule? Yep! Turns out that way when you can't find games.

Sept is brutal and all away games....Maybe the last part of Oct will be time needed to heal and prepare for playoffs

That's funny Stuff Uknoit!!! But I am just a father who has a son on the football team. I have no pull whatsoever when it comes to scheduling games and such. We will be glad to see you all back though. It will be the Dogs third trip to Kingsport in one season. I didn't make it to see you all the last time at Lynn View. I went to Greeneville to watch DB get taken to the wood shed.

      I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.

      If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.

      Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro

      I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
